As part of our National Library Week Celebration and support of this year’s statewide theme of ‘Libraries Rock’, the Kearny Public Library would like to invite all children in 2^nd grade and up to the Main Library for a special Geode Workshop on Friday, April 13 at 4 PM.

Geodes are rocks that contain cavities lined with crystals or other mineral matter. On Friday afternoon, we will take a number of geode rocks and break them open to see the crystals they contain!  All children will leave, at the end of the program, with their own beautiful crystal formations.
