On June 27 at 12 PM, we are pleased to welcome The Bradford Hayes Jazz Band.  Saxophonist Bradford Hayes, a native of Dinwiddie County, Virginia has been a force on the jazz scene in the northeastern U.S. for many years now. He has performed at a number of clubs, colleges and concert halls that include Birdland (NYC), Tavern on the Green (NYC), and the Beacon Theater (NYC). Bradford has performed or recorded in different musical settings with Gerald Alston, Yusef Lateef, Ted Curson, Michael Cochrane, Joe Lee Wilson, Jimmy Heath, Al Grey, Cecil Payne, Rufus Reid, Ray Bryant, Ben Riley, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Cecil Brooks III, Jerry Butler, and The Dells.

Please join us for these special events. They will be free of charge and open to everyone.  Please note that in the event of rain or inclement weather, we will be featuring music in our lower level Assembly Room.  While you’re in the neighborhood, please take some time to also visit the Kearny Farmer’s Market, located on the Garfield Avenue side of the building, between Kearny Avenue and Chestnut Street.  The Market will kick off on June 20 and run every Thursday afternoon throughout the Summer from 12 NOON until 6 PM.
