The Kearny Public Library would like to announce an exciting Summer NASA Space program with instructors from Mad Science, open to children in grades 2 and up. This six-week workshop will meet on Tuesdays at 3:00 PM, beginning July 9 and ending August 13.

Children will be taken on a voyage of space discovery each week through lots of hands-on activities and amazing demonstrations. Explore the sun, moon, stars and planets, including Earth’s own amazing atmosphere. Work with the technology that has been developed for space flight by building your own working rocket!!

This workshop is open to all Kearny residents, but class size is limited and registration is required. While the Kearny Library is contributing most of the funding needed, there will be a small $10 registration fee per child for the six-week session. Registration will open online on Sunday, June 30 through the Mad Science website. Follow this link:

You will be asked to create an account and sign into the system in order to register and pay for your child. Please call the library or stop in if you have any issues with the registration system.
