MUSEUM: Kearny Castle Lecture with William Styple

In honor of Kearny’s continuing Sesquicentennial Anniversary celebration, the Kearny Museum will host an evening lecture event on Thursday, October 5 at 7:00 PM.
Please join us for this special night, which will feature a lecture by General Philip Kearny expert and one-time Town Historian, William Styple. The unique subject will be Belle Grove, also known as the Kearny Castle, General Kearny’s historic house, which stood in our town until the 1920’s. This lecture will include a presentation of historical images as well. It is the first time that Mr. Styple has lectured on this topic and it is not to be missed!
This program will be free of charge and open to anyone interested. Seating will be limited, so please plan on arriving early. The Kearny Museum is housed on the second floor of the Kearny Library, located at 318 Kearny Ave. in Kearny, NJ. For more information, contact the library at (201) 998-2666 or visit our website at www.kearnylibrary.org.
