The Kearny Public Library is very pleased to present a special performance of The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey in our outdoor reading garden space at the Main library on Friday, July 20 at 5:00 PM.

This group of actors will be presenting Something Shakespeare This Way Comes, an exciting collage of moments from Shakespeare and the authors he has inspired. The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey (formerly called “New Jersey Shakespeare Festival”) is one of 25 professional theatres in the state. One of the leading Shakespeare theatres in the nation — serving 100,000 adults and children annually — it is New Jersey’s only professional theatre company dedicated to Shakespeare’s canon and other classic masterworks. Through its productions and education programs, the company strives to illuminate the universal and lasting relevance of the classics for contemporary audiences.

This show will be free of charge, open to all interested and not to be missed! It is being planned for our outdoor space, but in the event of inclement weather, it will be moved inside to our lower level.  The Kearny Public Library is located at 318 Kearny Ave. in Kearny, NJ.
