All children grades 2 & up are invited to join us in the Children’s Room at the Main Library as we present a special Mobile Planetarium program on Tuesday, February 27 at 6 PM or 6:45 PM.

Instructors from What’s Out There will be on hand on the 27^th to set up the Starlab Portable Planetarium System.  Once inside, the students will be able to view the nighttime sky from Kearny’s location.  They will observe the stars, planets, moon and other celestial objects.  As a special treat in 2018, they will focus on the rare blue moon, appearing twice this year, on January 31 and March 31.

There will be two sessions of our Mobile Planetarium on February 27 – one at 6:00 PM and another at 6:45 PM. Each will be limited to 30 participants on a first come-first served basis. Please plan on arriving early to one of the two shows.

The Main Library is located at 318 Kearny Ave. in Kearny, NJ. For more information about this or other upcoming programs, call the library or visit our website at www.kearnylibrary.org.
