The Kearny Public Library is excited to announce a two-part Zines for Teens Workshop with instructors from Kearny High School, on Friday, November 30 from 3 – 4 PM and Friday, December 7 from 5 – 6 PM.

A zine, which is short for magazine or fanzine, is generally a self-published original work with text and images. Participants will get a chance to examine dozens of different zine artifacts, provided by our instructors.  Then, the group will begin creating their own, unique zine together!

The classes will meet on the lower level of the Main Library, located at 318 Kearny Ave. This will be a hands-on class, so seating will be limited.  If interested, please call the library at (201) 998-2666 to reserve a spot.
