Friends of the KPL Sesquicentennial Trivia Night
The Friends of the Kearny Public Library are pleased to present a Sesquicentennial Trivia Night on Saturday, September 23rd from 4:30 – 8:30 PM in the beautiful reading garden space at the Main Library.
The evening will feature a catered dinner from 5 – 6 PM, prepared by Chef Frank DiTrani of local food truck, the French Quarter. A choice of stuffed turkey, chicken cordon bleu or Salisbury steak will be accompanied by salad greens, garlic mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables. Red or white wine, along with bottled water, will be available at each table.
Later in the evening, music and trivia games will be presented by Trivia Joe Entertainment with terrific prize baskets for the top three teams! Each round will include a Kearny trivia question in honor of the town’s 150th sesquicentennial anniversary, which we are celebrating throughout 2017.
A fundraiser ticket is necessary to enter the garden and this event. Tickets to the event are now available for only $30.00. If interested, ticket costs must be paid in advance to the Friends with a firm reservation date of September 13. Please indicate your choice of entrée when reserving. Mail all checks to the Friends of the Kearny Public Library at 32 Livingston Avenue in Kearny, NJ. Tickets are limited, so please reserve yours soon. The Friends are a nonprofit organization and all proceeds from this fundraiser will be used by them to enrich the library and its collections. For questions, contact Jennifer Cullen at (201) 401-9749.
